Anna Netrebko’s new “Russian Album” pulls off highest pop-chart entry since “The 3 tenors”
Anna Netrebko's newest release, the Russian Album has made historic news by entering both the German and Austrian pop charts at number eight, signifying in both cases the highest chart entry of a classical recording since 1990. The album includes Russian songs and arias and was recorded with the Orchestra of the Mariinsky Theatre conducted by Valery Gergiev.
