t.A.T.u. set to top UK singles chart
January 29, 2003
Russian lesbian pop duo Tatu are on course to take their first UK
number one this Sunday. All The Things She Said has outsold current chart topper, David
Sneddon's Stop Living The Lie, since its release on Monday. And Kelly Rowland's new
single Stole looks set to enter the charts at number two, according to mid-week sales
figures. Sneddon is currently in third place, followed by Jay-Z and Beyonce Knowles
with Bonnie & Clyde, and Busted's Year 3000. Meanwhile, Tatu have been forced to
cancel a scheduled appearance on ITV1's CD:UK this Saturday, after Julia underwent an
operation on her throat. The accompanying video to their single features the two girls
kissing and holding hands in the rain, as a group of people watch on in shock.
